Generalization and stabilization of exact scattering solutions for spherical symmetric scatterers

In a previous work the authors described fast high-fidelity computer model for acoustic scattering from multi-layered elastic spheres. This is now extended with scaling strategy significantly mitigating problem of overflow and thus expanding useful frequency range model. Moreover, new boundary conditions loads are implemented. Most important fluid–fluid solid–solid couplings, which allow completely general layering object. Sound hard sound soft implemented solids fluids respectively. addition to existing excitation, mechanical excitation in form point-excitation surface Attenuation hysteresis damping as well viscous fluid layers also included. Several numerical examples included, purpose validating code against reference solutions. The include air bubbles, coated steel shell point-exited shell.
